Christmas 2020 -2021 and it's been a funny year! Santa does not know what to do.......Christmases should always be magical including a Christmas lockdown. He is trying to make a plan about travelling to every girl and boy in the world during these Christmases. Don't worry kids- Santa will shine through! Lockdown Santa is a very different Santa Claus story, as they are very different times. We see him video calling the furloughed elves under the Northern lights and telling them to make all the toys from their homes. Due to the COVID rules, Santa will no longer be able to come down everyone's chimney. This year, he will have to find another way to keep Christmas magical and deliver presents to each and every child's home. We follow Santa to the Australian Outback; English back-to-back houses; jazz quarters; the worlds highest skyscrapers and the largest shantytowns as he tries to see every child under lockdown conditions. It has been a tough year for everyone, so Santa wants to thank all the carers for their bravery and hard work by giving them a little extra something too! Follow Santa's adventures as he shines through for every little child on Christmas Eve night. Lockdown Santa is a delightful rhyming story that remembers the special Christmases during lockdowns and allows children to keep their firm belief in Father Christmas! Thurston Jones was born a long time ago in Oyster Bay, NY.Since then, he likes to work as an artist and poet. He has written and published many books, children's picture books and poems. Thurston now lives and works as a surveyor in the UK, near to a place called The Cotswolds and he is always busy doing lots of arty and family activities.
