Raylyn said, Pumpkin, next week is Thanksgiving week. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, and it's a holiday Lots of people travel to see family and friends, so they have Friday off, and then there's the real Saturday. Oh, is we trabilin? Raylyn bent her knees so she was on Heidi's eye level. She smiled at her child, zipped the coat and said, Yes, Honey, we're going to see Grandma Isabel. I don't think you remember her, but she's a special lady. You'll love her, I know, and she already loves you. Mommy, is you getting' me a new daddy some day? Raylyn gasped, Where had that idea come from? Heidi! Why do you ask? Roger was in his office. He'd never heard those voices before. One was a child's, but the other was a young woman's. Isabel and her company had arrived. He walked into the auditorium with a smile. In the dim light, he saw the new lady and couldn't look away. Her face was lovely, he figured she'd fit perfectly into the circle of his arm. Clemens, get a grip! She has a child; therefore, there's a husband somewhere. He swallowed and finally croaked out, Hello, I'm Roger Clemens, the preacher.
Biographie:
I grew up a very shy, only child and often made up stories to entertain myself. As I grew up, I determined to become a nurse and went to a small Christian college for two years with that in mind. It was there I met my future husband. Some time later we married, we had our first child and I did become a nurse. Later, we moved to Indiana and had our second child. When he went to college I started writing. I have been writing for quite some time and have two other books published. Now my two children are grown and I have two grandchildren. My dear husband has since gone to heaven, but I'm still writing.
