Résumé :
In this first installment of the dark romantic suspense series by Angela Breen, we're thrown into a world of difficult pasts, dangerous obsessions, and second chances. Rachel Montgomery, newly divorced mother of four, finds herself the dark obsession of a twisted serial killer. Rachel Montgomery's life is finally coming together. She's offered a management position and can finally move out of her aunt's place and support her four children on her own. The sudden promotion comes with a catch: someone is stalking her. Using her beeper to torture her with sick messages all hours of the day and night. Terrified to tell anyone about the beeper calls, Rachel suffers in silence. She could lose her job and who would believe her anyway? FBI Agent Frank Tench, as a member of the BAU, is in town training the local cops on spotting predators. Instead, his attention is caught by Rachel. She's hesitant after a painful divorce, but the lonely hours between dusk and dawn are starting to get to her. When women start to go missing his focus is split between his ex-wife's feelings, his desire to be close to Rachel, and the case at hand. The moment Frank and Rachel get intimate, however, is a rude awakening-complete with its own graphic beeper message. Not only is she the killer's next target, but he knows everything about her. Including where she lives, works, and where her children play. And now he's pissed. Look for What's in a Name? in spring 2020!
Biographie:
Angela Breen is a romantic suspense author with a passion for true crime. She likes blending those interests with her own writing as well as her podcast, The Fact in the Fiction, look for it in Winter 2020. The podcast focuses on how true crimes can inspire stories but each episode highlights a missing person or John, Jane, or Baby Doe in an effort to connect some of them with missing persons cases. The families and victims deserve peace. When she's not writing, reading, or podcasting, she's homeschooling her three children and joking around with her Marine Corps Veteran husband. Laughter is the best medicine.
