    • Résumé :
This book is dedicated to Ms. Middletent Mother, and Indigenous people and all other people around the world who have been separated from their families, who were placed in boarding schools, orphanages, institutions, foster homes, detention camps, refugee camps, and sent to other countries to grow up separated from their families. This book is also dedicated to the ones who are not here today, Some of us made it, and some of us didn't. This book is also dedicate to Children and adults who experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and complex post traumatic stress, Ms. Middletent is one of the survivors. It was very kind of President Biden to officially apologize to the Native American People, a step forward in the right direction. In November 2024 the President apologized to the Native Americans for past wrong doings to the Indigenous People of the United States, and also in 2023 the Pope apologizing to the Canadian Indigenous People in Canada for the treatment of the children while in care and being cared for by the churches and institutions, the children were in foster homes, orphanages, and boarding schools. In 2009, the Prime Minister of Australia Mr. Kevin Rudd officially apologized to the Indigenous people of Australia for past practices and policies towards the Indigenous People and non Indigenous people, who were placed in foster care and orphanages and institutions and some of the children were sent from other countries to be cared for in Australia in those places. In this book Ms. Middletent shares with you some of her coping techniques that helped her along the way of survival. This book is about how she was able to unlock her unhealed repressed childhood trauma with the help of her mentor and teacher Valarie in the USMC in the High Desert of Twentynine Palms California, with her help and Ms. Middletent's spiritual walkabout experiences out in the Mojave Desert, Ms. Middletent was able to discover and learn about her Cultural Heritage and art, she would not be doing what she is doing today, winning Awards for her art for Earth Days, and being an advocate speaker for survivors of trauma and, Adverse Childhood Experiences, She would not be doing the things she is doing today if it wasn't for Valarie. The desert has been a wonderful healing place for her, Spiritually, physically, mentally and emotional healing and well-being. Surrounded by and living side by side with nature, plants and the animals and the Healing Joshua trees in the desert and the beautiful clear blue sky's and clean fresh air and the clear sky's in the evening seeing all the heavenly stars and planets of the universe at night. Ms. Middletent says she is full of gratitude and love for being so fortunate and blessed to have been bought here in Divine time. You could say this is why some of the Sages and Spiritual Healers and Teaches have been spending time in their secret retreats and Spiritual Centers here in the desert going back many many years but it was kept a secret, looking across the vastness beauty of desert at Little Uluru connecting to the Divine Universal Consciousness and the ever expanding universe. When you are ready, You are welcome to come out here and join me in the desert to experience your Spiritual Walkabout Awakening to meditate, rejuvenate and discover and learn about the meaning of life who you really are and what your true purpose in life is and why we are here. You never know, but you may even find much more than Ms. Middletent did, and you may even find your Spiritual Teacher out here also, through your Spiritual Walkabout Awakening. Through contemplation and meditating and looking across the beauty and vastness of the desert, day and evening and seeing little uluru from a distance, her mind body and soul connects to the Divine...

      Sommaire:
To the Indigenous people around the world who were placed in boarding schools, orphanages, institutions, foster homes, and sent to other countries to grow up away from their families. Some of us made it, and some of us didn't. I am one of those survivors. This book is about my healing journey that started as a young girl. Although not all of her memories were good ones she shares with you some of her better memories, her child like innocence the things she experienced in nature and plants. Ms. Middletent finds her Spiritual harmony in nature meditating Children Of The Light Meditation, this is how she connects with the divine creator. The book is also dedicated to children and adult survivors and for the ones that are not here right now. Ms. Middletent shares with you some of her coping techniques that helped her through her rainy days as a young girl and today. Through practicing the Children Of The Light Meditation, painting the Australian Aboriginal art, writing, and growing up outside in nature has helped her in her own healing therapy. Ms. Middletent is from the Kabi Kabi Tribe. Carmel is still looking for her Sister Caron Trapp from Brisbane Australia, as her and her sister Caron were separated not long after Carmel was born. Ms. Middletent was home recently and for the first time saw a picture of her great-grandmother Towcha and realized that this was the same lady she saw in her dreams. If it wasn't for Ms. Middletent moving to America, she would never have met her mentor in the USMC, a cultural heritage specialist/anthropologist/archaeologist in Twentynine Palms, California, who taught her all about the Australian Aboriginal art at an ancient Native American petroglyph site. Carmel would not be writing this book and painting in the Australian Aboriginal art if it were not for her mentor. Today Carmel is a First Nations Australian Aboriginal Artist, Teacher of Children of The Light Meditation, Teacher of The Dreamtime Teachings at The Dreamtime Lodge and a trained certified Pranic Healer of Master Stephen Cho and trained as a breath work teacher by Mr. and Mrs. Haggard successors of the teachings of Ding Lei Mei at Mental Psychics of Joshua Tree Ca. Ms. Middletent is the founder of First Nations Healing Arts Coalition International, a 501(c)(3) organization. The organization is to empower and inspire First Nations People toward their healing journey and recovery through their cultural heritage, whether it be painting, writing, meditation, ceremonies, music, storytelling, arts and crafts and pow wows, and a collaboration between all First Nations Survivors of oppression, suppression, depression, and Historical Intergenerational Trauma. Please contact Ms. Middletent for further information or through her PO Box 1211, Twentynine Palms, California 92277.
