Résumé :
Histopathology involves the microscopic study of tissue for understanding the clinical manifestations of various diseases. This book covers important aspects of histopathology and will be a useful source of reference for medical doctors and other specialists having interest in pathology. Histopathology uses fundamental information attained from biological and anatomical science to diagnose and ascertain the severity and development of a condition and also, to analyse the possible response to certain therapies. Thus, it does not come as a surprise that this field shows constant growth with new developments in biology. Also, new technologies that have been lately integrated and the adoption of the histopathological processes by various fields, have contributed to broadening the spectrum of fields which apply the histopathological methodology in various uses. The contributions in this book include a diverse variety of subjects that reflect the variety of perspectives that this field contemplates. Chosen representative reviews of topics that are considered relevant or introduce new ideas have been presented in this book.
