From page 3: "Arthur Brook (1886-1957) was born at Builth Wells and not only did he spend most of his life in Wales, but it was here that he found material for the bird photographs by which he will long be remembered. His apprenticeship and eventual skill as a watchmaker contributed to his success in developing remote control and flashlight devices for securing some of the more notable photographs. The Brook Collection of 2700 negatives is housed in the Department of Zoology of National Museum
