Fasting Your Way to Glory talks about the why and how of biblical fasting, the right and wrong ways of fasting, and the many physical and spiritual benefits you derive from making fasting a lifestyle.The author shares her personal experiences on how fasting influenced her life from teenager to adulthood.She says, Eating constantly for a whole week or month exposes you to the danger of contracting one disease or another. The stomach does not have time to rest and clean up or renew itself. The cells are not renewed, so they continue to wear out. It may be challenging to change your eating habits all of a sudden, but once you succeed through progressive fasting, you will live longer, happier, and healthier.About the Author: Nigerian author and publisher Stella Okoronkwo has 14 books to her credit in both English and French. A missionary and woman of God in her own right, she is into sustainable development and capacity building, and she fights against poverty, hunger, unemployment, and disease. She has two master's degrees from Wheaton Graduate School in Illinois, and Malmo University in Sweden. The youngest child of the late Alfred and Priscilla Okoro, exemplary educators and missionaries, the author teaches about hard work, divine healing, restoration, God's presence, and the importance of applying God's word to our lives. A former university lecturer, she has become a resource person in international publishing and development, and has used her training to impact people in several countries. She resides in Cote d'Ivoire, where she and her husband, Gilbert, reach out to the whole world through electronic, print media, and development programs.
