This is a wonderful story about innovation and perseverance and it is important in the role models it depicts. My two sons love this book and we read it weekly, so keep in mind that while there is certainly a lot about this book to inspire girls, it's a great book for boys too. And it's important for little boys to see a range of role models in STEM to challenge societal biases about what a typical innovator looks like.
