(About the Author) An elementary school counselor in Washington State, Louise Chiprut Berman holds a B.A. from the University of Washington in Law, Societies, and Justice, and an M. Ed. with a K-12 School Counseling endorsement. The author has been an active member with the Washington School Counselor Association, as elementary VP, ethics committee chair, and received the 2013 Counselor of the Year award. This is her first children's book.
