Résumé :
Kate, a twenty-three-year-old living in Canada, just graduated from university and has no idea what to do with her life. She's bored and craves adventure, but she doesn't know where to find it. Then she receives a letter from overseas and learns that her Aunt Tabitha, a woman she barely knew, has died and left her an estate in northern Spain. The property, Casa del Secrectos, consists of beautiful farmland but is in need of much care. Determined to create a life of her own, Kate sets out for Spain and struggles to restore the estate's fig orchard. While there, she meets a number of eccentric and colorful characters who fill her life with excitement. None of the people she meets, however, compare with a young man from the village who helps her understand and genuinely appreciate the tremendous beauty all around her. But even he cannot prepare her for the secrets of the inherited villa. It's up to Kate alone to solve a mystery that involves her late aunt and the land she so dearly loved. Join Kate as she grows up, finds romance, and unlocks her family's deepest secrets in Verdant Green.
