Disabilities hit all of us at one point in time, whether they are temporary or permanent. And disabilities cross over all social groups. But God commands us to love our neighbor, and he doesn't qualify this by saying only love those you are comfortable with. Author Rev. Dr. Theresa C. Taylor encourages you to welcome them with a genuine desire to have them become part of the body of Christ. God wants each of us to dance at his throne in heaven, regardless of what our physical circumstances may be while we sojourn on the earth. So what are you doing to help the disabled glorify God? Biographie: Rev. Dr. Theresa C. Taylor has a passion for disability advocacy. She and her husband founded Seek the Son Ministries Inc. which focuses on bringing the saving power of Jesus to the disabled. Theresa is deaf-blind and understands the obstacles that may hinder participation in a local church. Theresa also has a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral care along with being an ordained pastor through International Ministerial Fellowship. This background allows her to provide a great support to church leadership to overcome the obstacles to welcoming the disabled to our local churches. Theresa has an extraordinary gift for teaching in a way that encourages readers to want to learn. Theresa acknowledges that change is often tough in church communities. She challenges each of us to fulfill God's desire to welcome all to the great banquet including those with disabilities.
