The science and technology of acoustics embraces an unusually wide range of disciplines, from aircraft noise reduction to ultrasonics in medicine and from psychoacoustics to signal processing. Professor Christopher Morfey has almost 40 years of experience in acoustics, both in research and as a consultant. He is currently at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, Southampton University, UK.
