Sid walks into the Million Dollar Theater to tell Tanith one of her cast members is dead, then to interview everyone there. By the end of the night, he understands 'the show must go on' as never before.

Tanith is dealing with grief, worried about the rest of her cast, and afraid the investigation will blow up her biggest-ever personal project. She can't afford to be distracted by a good-looking detective.

The fast-moving investigation closes on the second night of performance, but Tanith and Sid both find themselves wondering: once the legal business is done, could their own show go on?
