Résumé :
La Fondation Opale si cimenta in una avventura espositiva che pone in dialogo l'arte aborigena contemporanea con le pi? rilevanti espressioni artistiche della contemporaneit? nate in contesti occidentali e talvolta orientali. Le opere presentate appartengono a due collezioni distinte ma entrambe di grande significato e bellezza: quella di arte aborigena appartenente a B?reng?re Primat, e quella di arte contemporanea di Garance Primat. Sono vere e proprie risonanze quelle che si avvertono ? con occhi e moti dell'anima ? osservando le opere che nonostante le differenti genealogie riescono a costruire un dialogo efficace e di grande potenza. Il legame che si viene a creare fa pensare a un'unit?: cielo e terra si incontrano, s?, ma si incontrano anche gli uomini, non solo tra loro ma con la terra e con il cosmo. Circolarit? infinita che crea unit?. Questo il punto di partenza del libro R?sonances che accompagna la mostra omonima... Attraverso le oltre ottanta opere d'arte selezionate e approfondite nel volume realizzate da 54 artisti, Georges Petitjean, Herv? Mikaeloff e Ingrid Pux hanno la possibilit? di mettere in luce la polvere stellare e la crosta terrestre che siamo, e di cui le opere d'arte si fanno portavoce. Tra gli artisti aborigeni rappresentanti vi sono: Rover Thomas, Gulumbu Yunupingu, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, Judy Watson, Sally Gabori, Emily Kame Kngwarrey, Paddy Bedford, Nonggirrnga Marawili, Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, John Mawurndjul. Tra gli artisti di tradizione occidentale e orientale ricordiamo: Jean Dubuffet, Kiki Smith, Anselm Kiefer, Sol Lewitt, Yayoi Kusama, Giuseppe Penone, Anish Kapoor.

Biographie:
Jean-Hubert Martin is an art historian of international standing who is remembered for his significant contribution to the Francis Picabia exhibition at the Grand Palais (1976), and the Magiciens de la Terre exhibition (1989), which he organized at the Centre Georges Pompidou and the Grand Halle de la Villette, which was part of his growing interest in so-called primitive art. In more recent years, he has worked as a freelance exhibition organizer and for institutions that have an important role in the field of art-history. Georges Petitjean is an art historian whose main research interest lies in tracing the path Aboriginal art has taken from its origins right up to the world of international contemporary art. He was the curator of the Museum of Contemporary Aboriginal Art in Utrecht from 2005 to 2017. Since 2017 he has been the curator of the Collection B?reng?re Primat, one of the foremost collections of Aboriginal art in the world. Herv? Mikaeloff is a freelance art consultant and exhibition organizer. One of his most prestigious clients is Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, with which he has collaborated since it was founded. Since 2018 he has been the curator of Garance Primat's Collection Dragonfly and in that year he co-organized the Poussi?res d ?toiles exhibition at Le Domains des Etangs-Massignac, where he also co-curated the La Lumi?re de Mondes exhibition (2019). Ingrid Pux is an international freelance-exhibition organizer. She has collaborated with Herv? Mikaeloff as head of exhibitions since 2012 and was particularly closely involved in Miss Dior, an exhibition held at the Grand Palais in Paris, later traveling to Shanghai and Beijing. Since 2019 she has worked in her capacity as a freelance exhibition organizer, helping visual artists display their work in Parisian galleries, with the aim of presenting their art in unexpected settings....
