Plasma is a fundamental state of matter. It is generally produced by heating or by subjecting a neutral gas to a strong electromagnetic radiation thereby converting it into an ionized gas. In plasma physics, the bulk properties of plasma like magnetization, thermal properties, non-thermal properties as well as classification and production of commercial and industrial plasmas are studied.
