Accepting an invitation to the Governor's ball
proved to be rewarding for Rick, seeing Mariano at the buffet table, a man Rick met in Montreal who tried to eliminate him on the streets of that city.
If Mariano was here in Barbados, then Leonardo can't be far away, Rick thought to himself.
Joanne joined Rick as he headed out to the garden area; they sat down at a table and looked around, Mariano was gone.
