Biographie:
Dylan Pritchett is a native of Williamsburg, Virginia. Since 1990, he has been a storyteller taking his African and African American folk tales throughout the country teaching morals, values, and history while having a whole lot of fun! Dylan's work extends beyond the stage to museums, art centers,
historical sites, television, and recordings. In addition to recording several albums of folk tales, he has created the voices of many characters for recordings and exhibits for many museums and historic sites including voices for the recently opened African American Museum of History & Culture in Washington, D.C., Colonial Williamsburg.
Anacostia Museum, Monticello, Gunston Hall, Poplar Forest, Meadow Farms Museum, Valentine Museum, National Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and
The American Civil War Museum.
Dylan (pronounced DIElan) is honored to have served as President of the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. as well as their Festival Director for many years. He is proudest of being married to his wife for 35 years and his two children
Dylan Jr. and Shannan.
