Résumé :
6 April 2020 : Raphael, the greatest painter of the Renaissance, died 500 years ago. This is one of the most important anniversaries that the history of art will ever offer us, a unique occasion for Italy and the whole world. The Scuderie del Quirinale, in collaboration with the Gallerie degli Uffizi and as part of the celebrations coordinated by a specifically set up National Committee, are paying tribute to the master with a major exhibition, the largest ever devoted to Raphael and one of the most important staged in Italy so far. This richly illustrated, exhaustive catalogue is the perfect complement to the show.
Biographie:
Marzia Faietti was Art Historian Director at the Gallerie degli Uffizi in Florence until 2018. She is currently a professor at the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna.
