- Livre Fantastique
Résumé :
Jeth, cursed at birth, is forced to leave his homeland and find a place for himself in a world descending into war. Overnight, he goes from fervent soldier to desert thief who now must lie, cheat, and steal to survive in a hostile, foreign land alongside an enigmatic and sultry companion.
Across the ocean, Vidya undergoes a harrowing transformation into a winged weapon that will avenge her mother and save her island nation.
Their fates are entwined by the infamous Overlord of Herran. One is running from him, the other is hunting him. Neither can escape the Immortal Serpent.
Biographie:
K.E. Barron wanted to write her entire life, but she chose to be an accountant instead. Now she divides her time between writing books and balancing them. She grew up in Fernie, British Columbia and now lives in Red Deer, Alberta, working as a financial analyst and writing fantasy books in her spare time.
Her interests are vast and varied, ranging from the aesthetics of eighteenth-and nineteenth-century period pieces to the scholarly realms of evolutionary psychology, anthropology, economics, and religion. These eclectic inspirations are all part of the magic and cultural realism of The Immortal Serpent, her second publication.
