Résumé :
Despite being subtitled A Mystery, Ken Edwards' third novel is no conventional crime story. An old and vulnerable woman has gone missing, and a private detective, Phidias Peralta, an illegal resident in a business park near the run-down port of Deadmans Beach, has been hired by her nephew to find her. His assistant, Lucy, is more concerned with her seven-year-old son who is failing at school - but she too is drawn into the quest to try to solve a mystery for which there appears to be no single solution.
Biographie:
KEN EDWARDS has written four previous novels, three books of non-generic prose and a memoir. His Collected Poems was published in 2020. Between 1993-2016 he ran the small press Reality Street and he is now a partner in Grand Iota. He lives on the south coast of England, where he plays bass guitar with the band Afrit Nebula....
Sommaire:
Ken Edwards edited Reality Studios magazine, 1977-88, and founded Reality Street Editions with Wendy Mulford in 1993. He ran the press until it ceased publishing new books in 2016. He currently runs Grand Iota with Brian Marley, dedicated to new prose writing. As well as his poetry, collected here, he has published three novels and other works of imaginative prose, including his memoir of the 1970s, Wild Metrics. He lives in St Leonards on Sea, England, where from time to time he plays bass guitar with the band Afrit Nebula....
