As a mentor, Susan suggested to Aimee that she should write ten gratitudes a day for one entire year. Aimee invited Susan to join her in this endeavor so that they could bear witness to each other and provide mutual encouragement during challenging times. Digging more deeply into the many layers of their lives, they began to see the ordinary as extraordinary. These daily gratitude exchanges helped them put a positive spin on anything and everything that was happening in their lives.
It became an odyssey of awakening which evolved into a plethora of healing gifts. It was a journey of self-acceptance, which led to setting healthy boundaries. Even if Aimee was overwhelmed by her many life roles, she gave gratitude for a good cup of coffee or simply reading to her girls at bedtime. Susan found new depths of understanding through Aimee's perspective - it was a gift to have two women - at different stages of their lives - come together to share with honesty and trust. This book shows how to embark on A Path to Gratitude.
Biographie:
Susan Crockett Touchet has amassed an impressive list of credits over the past 57 years as a
dancer, arts administrator, writer, film maker, yoga teacher, and nationally recognized dance
educator. For 25 years, Susan held the position of Director of Curriculum and Teaching Artist
Development for The Music Center: Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County. Retiring
nine years ago, she continues part time as Director of Special Projects, teaches Hatha Yoga,
Chair Yoga and guides personal coaching. She also makes original jewelry designs, writes books
and expresses herself through collage, and pen/watercolor paintings.
