Biographie:
Authors Stephen R. Bockmiller and Lawrence J. Bopp, professionals in the fields of historic preservation and history education, respectively, serve as volunteers on the Constellation, coordinating educational programs. Together, they have documented the unique history of this ship as a defender of the flag, as an educational tool in the training of military personnel, and as a museum for the education of future generations. A well-deserved tribute, this pictorial retrospective expertly captures the enduring spirit of the USS Constellation, an abiding American symbol.
