From the patriarchs, through the judges, prophets and kings of the Old Testament, and into the senior citizens of the New Testament, Martin Girard identifies strengths and weaknesses, cites examples to be followed or to be avoided, and applies the lessons of the Word of God in a relevant way. Written from his own middle-age perspective, the author challenges us to be realistic because-whatever our age-we are all shaping our own future. He invites us to meet these Bible characters and to discover from them how we can finish our own lives well.
