Bearnard ? Lubhaing was born in Ventry post office in 1928.He trained as a primary school teacher in St Patrick's Training College, Drumcondra. After years of teaching in Crumlin, he returned to his beloved Kerry to teach in Listowel. He served as INTO secretary in north Kerry for twenty-five years and served as headmaster of the Irish College at Ventry which organised residential courses for second-level students. He died in August 2001....
