In 2008, Dr. Toni True-Wills lost her husband of 28 years to cancer. In an effort to comfort herself, she did exactly what she had suggested to so many clients along the way-she wrote. She wrote about memories, experiences, and spiritual concepts...she wrote about what worked for her, and what didn't, and about the things she had learned from her clients, friends, and family. Biographie:
Toni was raised in Pass Christian, MS. She has one older brother, Bob, (whom she still adores) and an identical twin sister, Pati (they were known as the True Twins in their dancing and singing days, which lasted well into college.) They all attended Ole Miss University, but at 50 years old, Toni made the decision to go back and get a Ph.D. in Counseling. She went on to establish 3 clinics, facilitate hundreds of groups, workshops, and seminars - she has been a featured and guest speaker at numerous forums. This work has been her greatest love and she often says that her clients taught her as much as she taught them. This book is a testament to that love.
