Résumé :
The goal of this pamphlet is to give developmental mathematics students some concrete advice regarding the journey in developmental mathematics. This journey consists of the many decisions students make (or do not make) in succeeding in developmental mathematics. Throughout this journey will be many occurrences of both joy and frustration. A challenge for these students is channeling their frustration.
The pamphlet should be read sequentially. Students should address issues in the first chapter before reading the second chapter. This may require additional communication with instructors, tutors, employers, family or school administrators.
Biographie:
Dr. Darrin Berkley has been an active Christian since his youth. He has completed both Christian leadership and discipleship classes and has read the entire Bible on three separate occasions. One of Dr. Berkley's research areas is critical thinking and he looks to find relationships between critical thinking and Christianity through effective questioning.
