Suddenly, booming thunder roars through the clouds. Lightning rockets across the sky! And Max is afraid again. Will he overcome his fears? Will he survive when he ends up in a raging river? Will the seed of courage that started to grow be enough to carry him through the storm? We all must do things at times that we are afraid to do. Max shows us that oftentimes, just grabbing hold of a friend's hand can be the beginning of courage.
