Résumé :
Als Schwellenr?ume zwischen Leben und Tod kommt Sterbeorten eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Mit dem ?berf?hren des Sterbens aus dem privatr?umlichen Wohnumfeld in medizinische und pflegerische Institutionen wird ihre Gestaltung und Verortung im Kontext der gebauten Lebenswelt und im gesellschaftlichen Diskurs daher zur Architekturaufgabe. Katharina Voigt dokumentiert die typologische Genese von Sterbeorten, f?hrt zeitgen?ssische k?nstlerische Positionen zur K?rperlichkeit, Transformation und R?umlichkeit des Sterbens an und entwickelt daraus Grundlagen f?r ein angemessenes Raumgeben am Lebensende. In Gespr?chen ?ber das Sterben kommen Protagonist*innen unterschiedlicher Disziplinen zu Wort, darunter Barbara Camilla Tucholski, Charlotte Uzarewicz, Fr?re Alain Durand und Stefan Kaegi. Mit einer Einf?hrung von Uta Graff....
Biographie:
Katharina Voigt studied architecture in Hamburg, Munich, and Stockholm. She worked for St?lken Schmidt Architekten BDA in Hamburg and Heim Kuntscher Architekten und Stadtplaner BDA in Munich. She researches and teaches at the Chair of Architectural Design and Conception, at the Technical University of Munich. Her research focuses on transdisciplinary investigations of architecture, highlighting the lived experience as significant for the anticipation of architectural design, and investigating the integration of sensuality and bodily knowledge in architectural research. Her doctorate on dance practices as a medium and tool of architectural experience, research, and design is associated with the doctoral program Epistemologies of Aesthetic Practices at the Collegium Helveticum.
