My life story demonstrates a strong will to rise on top in spite of emotional and physical abuse and a dysfunctional home. I speak about how the need for my mom's love created an arena of low self-worth, shame, and depression and how looking to other people's mothers for love had opened an avenue for rejection and brokenness. I demonstrate that in spite of being deprived of an early education, moving from one home to the next, and being rejected and hurt by church people, my hope for life never dimmed my outlook on life. My story is very intriguing, but above all, I maintain my integrity and Christian walk. I want people to know that amidst the challenges life throws at them, there is always an opening for the future once they have a made-up mind, a strong will, and faith in God and constantly pray to Him for help.
