Growing up without a father, Walton must navigate through the toughest years of adolescence without having a positive male role model while living in a rough and tough town. After he and his family move into a new neighborhood, he is faced with new obstacles that normal teens never encounter. Walton easily adjusts to his new surroundings and begins making new friends and develops his first romantic relationship. Biographie:
Walter Burchette: The son of two textile mill workers born in a small rural town in North Carolina. Walter developed a passion for writing as early as the second grade. By the time he was ten years of age, writing was Walter's fulltime hobby. While growing up in his family and becoming a husband and a father has given Walter the ability to hone his skills and imagination as a writer. Although being based on Walter's earliest rights he began in 1994, Be a Man is his debut novel.
