Biographie:
Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche war ein deutscher klassischer Philologe. Postum machten ihn seine Schriften als Philosophen weltber?hmt. Im Nebenwerk schuf er Dichtungen und musikalische Kompositionen. Er war zun?chst preu?ischer Staatsb?rger, ab seiner ?bersiedlung nach Basel 1869 war er staatenlos.
Im Alter von 24 Jahren wurde Nietzsche unmittelbar im Anschluss an sein Studium an der Universit?t Basel Professor f?r klassische Philologie. Bereits zehn Jahre sp?ter legte er 1879 aus gesundheitlichen Gr?nden die Professur nieder. Von nun an bereiste er - auf der Suche nach Orten, deren Klima sich g?nstig auf seine Migr?ne und Magenleiden auswirken sollten - Frankreich, Italien, Deutschland und die Schweiz. Ab seinem 45. Lebensjahr (1889) litt er unter einer psychischen Krankheit, die ihn arbeits- und gesch?ftsunf?hig machte. Seinen Anfang der 1890er Jahre rasch einsetzenden Ruhm hat er deshalb nicht mehr bewusst erlebt. Er verbrachte den Rest seines Lebens als Pflegefall in der Obhut zun?chst seiner Mutter, dann seiner Schwester und starb 1900 im Alter von 55 Jahren.

Nietzsche s intellectual journey was influenced by figures like Arthur Schopenhauer and Fyodor Dostoevsky. He faced personal struggles throughout his life, including mental illness, which led to his decline in health. He passed away on August 25, 1900, in Weimar, Germany, at the age of 55. Nietzsche s parents were Carl Ludwig Nietzsche and Franziska Oehler, and he had a brother, Ludwig Joseph Nietzsche, and a sister, Elisabeth F rster-Nietzsche.
