Bishop G. Bromley Oxnam and the Rt. Reverend Henry Knox Sherrill visited Germany and surveyed the needs of the Protestant churches there. In Germany they were joined by Dr. Franklin Clark Fry, president of the United Lutheran Church in America.

Dr. N. M. Ylvisaker, Director of the Service Commission of the National Lutheran Council, visited chaplains in Europe as war correspondent for the Army and Navy Journal.

Dr. Alfred Carpenter. Readers will be interested to receive prior to a more complete account in the March issue, an outline of the extensive overseas visitation of Dr. Alfred Carpenter, Superintendent of Camp Work, Southern Baptist Convention.
