ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND THE BETTER DIRECTION STORY-LINE This Bible TRUTH and scripture in James 4:13-15 was so true in my life - Look here, people who say, today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit. How do you know what will happen tomorrow? For your life is like the morning fog-it's here a little while, then it's gone. What you ought to say is If the Lord want us to, we will live and do this or that. In 1989 I was in my final year of secondary school and planned to go and study to become a pastor, so that I can teach everyone about God. In April 1989 I injured my back and was in hospital and bed at home until September that same year. I wrote my final exams and although I have passed, I did not attain university exemption and thus could not go and study to be a pastor. I decided to go back to school and redo my final year. At the end of 1990 I graduated with enough credits to finally go to University. For some odd reasoning at that point in my life (which only is now clear to me) I did not go to University to study to become a pastor after redoing my final year to qualify to do so after the preceding years health events in my life. I ended up studying Cost Accounting Management. After 14 years working at the same financial institution I was send to three life-changing and lifeenriching training interventions. The first was attending Dr. Kobus Neethling's creativity 3- day course, In 2011 I further attended a 3-day MBA over view course and in 2012 I was enrolled at the Business School of Stellenbosch doing their full year Executive Development program. In June of 2016 God made it clear to me, whilst sleeping, that I need to write a book called Better Direction, bringing together all the business acumen I have learnt, with particular focus on MBA principles, using these fundamentals to highlight Biblical MBA (Mentoring Biblical Ambassadorship) principles that focus on what the purpose and meaning of life is. Thus James 4:13-15 is so true in my life. I had a plan in 1989, but God had a different - BETTER plan for my life which I can now understand. I had to learn and gain extensive business acumen that enabled me to establish the Better Direction FRAMEWORK and VISION. In this season of my life I am a life coach mentor with specific focus teaching in: ? WORDS HAVE POWER ? VALUE YOUR TIME ? CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY ? EMPOWERED SUCCESS In addition I also inspire sport athletes and teams presenting my DO YOU WANT TO BE A LEGEND? motivational talk. In the financial world I am an Operational Risk Expert. Most Important of ALL I AM A CHILD OF GOD...
