Biographie:

To research The Hunted Return, the author set out from Fort Madison, Iowa, to Leavenworth, Kansas, then joined the Oregon Trail up to Colorado and over to Utah. From Utah, he veered north through Idaho up to Helena, Montana, before taking to the waters of the Missouri and Marias rivers and riding through a rainstorm into Fort Benton. This epic trek was made to ensure the historical and geographical accuracy of the travels of his characters in the novel. Many of the novel's scenes describe actual ghost towns and historical sites visited by the author. Spalsbury has published western novels, Christmas short stories, science fiction, and contemporary fiction. He currently lives in Visalia, California.
