With a few easy-to-learn techniques, symptoms of anxiety and stress can be managed, which will lead to a more balanced, happier life, and create a sense of connection to the larger world. Shine provides a fun and accessible way to slow down and find calm and relaxation anytime, anywhere. Though these guided meditation techniques are presented for children, the adults in their lives can join in to develop useful and enjoyable skills. Explore the connection between mind, body, and spirit to create a daily meditation practice for the whole family.
Biographie:
Sherree Dee has been an avid yoga and meditation practitioner for more than twenty-five years. She is a registered nurse and is trained in Reiki and therapeutic touch. As a mother of three and grandmother of four, Sherree believes it is vital for children to learn coping techniques for anxiety and stress from an early age. Sherree lives with her husband Rolf on a beautiful acreage in the trees near Lac La Hache in British Columbia. She loves spending time in nature and enjoys woodcarving and rock painting. Shine is her first book.
