In recent years, the terms Interior Design and Interior Designer have increasingly become fixed terms in Germany due to the Tact that there is no difference in terminology in English usage for the design and for the designers of interiors. This is how the title of this book, which presents thirty-four German interior designers with their current projects, is to be seen. Whether interior architect, architect, interior decorator or interior designer, all are experts, specialists, professionals, aesthetes, and visionaries. This book presents unique and forward-looking spatial concepts in the areas of living, working, retail, gastronomy, trade fair construction, social institutions, and health care. Each one with its own philosophy : individual, atmospheric, sensual, tailor-made, innovative, high-quality, timeless, and sustainabte. In the given spaces, materials, colors, fabrics, furniture, art, and above all light create emotions that evoke a sense of wellbeing among the residents, employees, visitors, guests, or patients. With a skilful balance between reduction and dynamics, spaces and people are brought together.

Biographie:
Ralf Daab has been active in the art book market for 25 years. He started his career as a sales manager at TASCHEN in the US. He later became Managing Director of Könemann Inc. in New York, before returning to Germany to develop a new book program for teNeues and to establish a worldwide distribution network. With this experience, he founded his own label daab and published more than 200 books on art, architecture, design, photography and fashion. With HIGH ON...
