The Bible teaches us what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, did and said during His life on earth. It tells about His words to His disciples, His miracles of love and compassion to those in need, and, most importantly, His death and resurrection. But do we ever wonder how He felt? What He thought? Was Jesus Christ little more than a divine entity, accepting a predetermined fate He had no control over? In this biblical novel, Here I Am: Exploring Christ's Thoughts, Feelings, And Relationship With God The Father, Julia Baldwin imagines the gospel story as if it were written by Jesus Himself. Doing so, Baldwin tries to prove that He wasn't just the prophesied Son of God and Savior of the world, but a real human being with His own thoughts, emotions, fears, and even doubts. He was, and is, the ultimate example for the Christian life, ever dependent on God the Father for guidance, instruction, comfort, and strength. Throughout the novel, readers will discover: - Christ's human nature, in terms of His potential thoughts, emotions, and experiences during certain events in His life not discussed in as much detail in the Bible - Christ's divine nature, in terms of His relationship with God the Father and interactions with Him - The gospel story as an actual Hero's journey, portraying Christ's finding Himself in His Father's redemption plan; though Christ had all power and authority to change this plan, it was His love for His Father and the human race that led Him to submit to His Father every step of the way.
