- Livre
Résumé :
Strengthen mathematical skills and offer practice in applying those skills as Peterson/Smith's MATHEMATICS FOR MACHINE TECHNOLOGY, 8E prepares students and apprentices for today's machine trades and manufacturing. This comprehensive book highlights the latest technology and tools while connecting math concepts to relevant machine applications, using industry-specific examples, realistic illustrations and actual machine functions. Simple-to-complex problems and examples progress from general math to trigonometry and solid geometry while demonstrating math at work in machine trades and manufacturing. Coverage emphasizes appropriate calculator operations with new coverage of spreadsheets as well as introductions to G- and M-codes for CNC programming. Readers master vocational and technical applications of math concepts needed to excel in machine, tool-and-die and tool design industries....
