Résumé :
This story follows the adventures of six teenage boys living in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York, in the summer of 1949, who buy and operate a 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom touring car. The story briefly describes the six boys and the neighborhood and activities the boys were involved in that summer. It then tells how the boys got the old car and about the former Wall Street man that provided the necessary legal support. The car is described, including its unique window shades, trouble doing a valve job on the engine, and the trouble with the wheel repeatedly falling off. It also tells about trouble with older boys in the neighborhood and the events they encountered in using the Rolls that summer when they rode with their mentor to his Lodge on Lake Sacandaga, New York.

He is co-author with Paul Driben of When Freedom is Lost - the Dark Side of the Relationship Between the Government and the Fort Hope Band (published by University of Toronto Press 1983, reprinted in 1986 and 1990). He resides in Thunder Bay, Ontario....
