My Gracie is the story of a shy young girl who has a hard time fitting in and making friends in school. Having low self-esteem, Gracie finds herself being excluded in regular school activities. One day while walking home from school, Gracie stops at the park and encounters an elephant. She sits with the animal and goes on a mindful journey where she finds peace and happiness. The next day, Gracie goes to school standing a little taller with a new mindset that she is good enough as is and that happiness is found inside of you.

Biographie:
Nikki Gangemi is an educator, transformational coach, speaker, author, and owner of Mindful Matters LLC. She teaches mindfulness practices and coping skills to help people regulate emotions and handle stress and conflict in healthy ways. Nikki has presented at workshops for parents and given professional development trainings for teachers educating both on mindfulness practices and practical tools to use themselves and with their children. She obtained her B.A. in Public Communications and M.A. in early childhood education from Kean University in New Jersey. Nikki is trained in MBSR, Law of Attraction coaching, and EFT Level 1.
