Christine Maeda is the adoptive mom of two short nosed dogs as well as wife, mother, and creator of both pictures and stories. She is an award winning fine artist, published illustrator and author. Christine discovered a love and talent for art early in life, and her writings reflect and address common childhood situations; hopes, dreams, and even fears. Christine's goal is to help children overcome fears they may not be able to express, but can relate to through stories and pictures. In this, and other short stories, Grandmother Moon helps Andy to cope with everyday events which can cause anxiety for children and allow them to discuss their fears and anxieties in a positive way.
