To somehow think we can out-create or out-dream that is to place ourselves on much too high a plane. It was attempted at Babel. It was what got Adam into the mess where he found himself. On the other end of the spectrum, our God is one who desires to be known. He longs for His people, His children, to explore the deepest parts of Him. As we draw close to Him, our eyes can be opened to the magnitude of creative possibilities that are contained in the word GOD. Isn't that what worship is? That is what art is. That is what creativity is. In Creativity: Art, the Artist & the Church we explore the state of art in the church, the biblical foundations for creativity, and patterns for how to see the local church released to be a creative forerunner on the earth.
Biographie:
Caleb Palmer is the Creative Director and Youth Pastor at Restoration Church in Casper, Wyoming. Previously he worked for many years in the graphic design industry creating web and print visuals for businesses and non-profits. He trained in film production at Maine Media and graduated from Northeast Missouri Bible College (currently Heartland Christian College) with a degree in Biblical Studies. His love for photography and the church has sent him around the world documenting what God is doing. He and his wife Rebecca have three amazing kids - Ethan, Ava and Hudson....
