Résumé :
Typically when we pray to God, we recognize that He has a level of control over what happens. We tend to expect for Him to give us what we pray for, so when things happen that we don't want in relation to our prayers, how do we respond? We all like to get what we want. But the way we handle not getting what we want is critical to our well being in life. How do we handle not getting what we want when we asked God for it? This book uses the author's years of teaching God's word and a specific monumental life experience to explore two main points. The first being to examine not praying itself, but the aspects that go into why and how we pray what we pray. The second point focuses on some of the best ways to respond to not getting the answer we wanted to our prayers. Join me on this journey as we explore how to respond when God says no.
Biographie:
Adopted into a loving family at two months old, Chuck McLamore grew up and still resides in the historic and beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. He's had a love for writing that he's been developing since he was ten years old. At 23 years old, he gave his life to God and a few months after that, began preaching and teaching as an evangelist in a local church. He married his wonderful wife Tori in November of 2016. They have one daughter in heaven, Madison Danielle, and one on earth, Madalynn Grace. He has two previously released books of poetry, Scripture Lyrics Vol. 1 and Strength in Struggles.
