Résumé :
The Man Booker-longlisted author tells the story of a young woman named S.H.'s first year in New York City after being raised in the Midwest, and her encounters with a mysterious and ominous neighbour. S.H. looks back on these exchanges forty years later as a veteran author and interrogates the nature of memory.
