The variety of activities enables children to relive the story and learn through activities that correlate to the story (such as word searches containing the words in the story, coloring sheets of pictures from the story, reflective material on the saint as a role model, maps, and listing the items found at the sacrament). This is an excellent way to introduce these Saints for Sacraments to children, helping them to understand their virtues and desire to live holy lives. Activities are for children ages 6-9. An answer key is provided.
Biographie: Barbara Yoffie has been in Catholic education for forty-nine years. Yoffie has a master's degree in religious education administration from Loyola University in New Orleans, a bachelor's degree in art education, and a certificate of religious studies from Paul VI Institute in St. Louis. Her passion for teaching children about the saints is evident in her Saints and Me! series.
