As a veterinary technician and dog trainer/ behavior consultant, Shannon has over twenty years of experience training dogs. In 2006, Shannon founded Ventura Pet Wellness and Dog Training Center. The center offers a variety of training classes and she offers private training lessons for more complex behavior problems. Shannon specializes in helping fearful and unsocialized dogs. In 2015, Shannon developed Truly Force Free Animal Training, an Internet-based training site dedicated to spreading knowledge regarding force free training. She is passionate about caring for animals with empathy and compassion.
