- Livre Économie
Résumé :
The Tribal Code shows what it takes to survive and succeed in a tough world. Tribes have survived far longer, with far fewer resources in far harsher environments than most modern firms. So maybe, just maybe, we can learn something about survival and success from these great survivors. The Tribal Code is based on 20 years of original research with tribes around the world. It also reflects work with over 100 of the best, and a couple of the worst, firms on our planet. With inspiring stories and lavish pictures, you will discover timeless lessons of survival and success: what it takes to be a leader people want to follow how to be sure to beat your competition how to build a team which works together why you need to keep on changing and adapting why excellence is a survival dead end how to survive in an AI world why we succeed and why we should enjoy our success The author is the only person to win the CMI gold award three times for his best selling books, which include How to Lead, Mindset of Success and Global Teams. Biographie:
Jo Owen is the only person to win the Chartered Management Institute Gold Medal three times for his best selling books which include How to Lead, Global Teams and The Mindset of Success. He has featured on CNN, Forbes, Fortune, Financial Times and many magazines and news media.
Jo practices what he preaches as a leader. He is founder of Teach First, the UK's largest graduate recruiter and seven other NGOs with combined turnover above ?100 million. He has started a bank from scratch and built businesses in Japan, America and Europe. He was a partner at Accenture and the MAC Group and started his career at Procter & Gamble in brand management. His career highlights include becoming the best nappy salesman in Birmingham, putting the blue speckle in Daz and getting sued for dollars12 billion, when a billion was worth something.
He has also spent 20 years researching tribes from Mali to Mongolia, from the Arctic to Australia to Papua New Guinea and beyond to discover what businesses can learn from them about survival and success.
Jo is in demand as a coach and keynote speaker and can be reached at jo@ilead.guru
