Résumé : Graphis Poster Annual 2019 This year's Platinum Award Winners are 21xdesign, Takashi Akiyama, COLLINS, Bond/FX Networks/Iconisus/Ignition, Rikke Hansen, Matthias Hofmann, Fa-Hsiang Hu, Gunter Rambow, and Traction Factory. Entries were scored by a panel of Judges, all award-winning Poster Designers: Fons Hickmann, Andrew Hoyne, Zach Minnich, Daeki Shim, Hyojun Shim, and Rick Valicenti. This edition presents exceptional posters by each of these talented Judges, some of the best student posters featured in this year's New Talent Annual, and a poster museum directory along with insight from Cooper-Hewitt Curator Ellen Lupten. All Platinum and Gold Award Winners have their assignments, approaches, and results presented in the back of the book.
Biographie:
B. Martin Pedersen, Publisher, Design and Editorial Director of Graphis, has won numerous awards in his past from the AIGA, ADC, TDC, and the SPD, who honored him with the first Herb Lubalin Award for excellence in editorial design. He also won the Columbia University National Magazine Award for the best designed magazine of the year. He has been inducted into the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame, received the AIGA Gold Medal for a lifetime achievement in Design, and is a member of Alliance Graphique International (AGI) and the New York Yacht Club.
