Growing GREEN InterActions is the answer! Developed by Herb Hein, a speech-language pathologist with more than 40 years of clinical experience, this proven social skills program is comprehensive yet accessible for professionals and laypeople alike. The program teaches participants that they are members of teams, a concept engendering inclusiveness and respect for others.

THE GUIDE'S GUIDE provides an overview of the program and is also a resource for the LESSON BOOK. The LESSON BOOK is a working manual with scripts and scenes for acting out realistic social situations and Wise Action Tools worksheets for analysis, assessment, and feedback. It also includes a set of Guiding GREEN Thoughts, which are a self-calming and concept-reinforcing tool, additional forms to encourage positive discussions and behavior, and program-specific music that encourages and reinforces team-centered social interactions.

The Growing GREEN InterActions Program was developed and used in clinical practice and schools with tools and techniques that have been proven effective in working with challenged populations, such as elementary school children, middle schoolers, and older individuals who have social language needs.

Herb Hein, MMSc, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with more than 40 years of experience in the field. His clinically proven program allows individuals to make life better for themselves and their school, community, and home teams.

Herb is also an accomplished singer-songwriter, combining his love of music with his passion for helping others to create SONGS FOR GUIDING GREEN THOUGHTS, a program-specific educational album that can be used with the LESSON BOOK.
