Every year, hundreds of thousands of Magellanic penguins gather to breed at Punta Tombo, Argentina, along a windswept edge of the Patagonian desert, and for more than three decades, biologist Dee Boersma has joined them. Penguins in the Desert follows both the penguins and Boersma through a season of their remarkable lives.
Biographie:
Eric Wagner lives in Seattle with his family. He is the author of Once and Future River, and his essays and journalism have appeared in Orion, Audubon, Smithsonian, and High Country News, among other places. He has a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Washington, for his work on the Magellanic penguins at Punta Tombo, Argentina....
